So hard to find a good general practitioner nowadays. Poor communication by my doctor and you can't even leave a phone message for your when the office is closed.
Great for blood draw. I have difficult veins and the staff is very skillful. They are great, and is always successful on the first try and no pain!!
The facilities are not well kept, floors look dirty, lab staff often don't look professional. The time it takes to schedule an appointment is too long. I have called in late morning or afternoon and been put on hold for 25-30 min. and the the phone just hung up. After repeated trying I just gave up. No other U of M facility has service this bad. I thought it would be more convenient to use this location, but I cannot wait to move my PCP to another location. Unfortunately, I have to wait until October. My experiences with all other U of M locations has been stellar.
When I first tried to get an appointment with this clinic, (any U of M clinic), I was told to wait 3 months. At the time I just found out I was pregnant. Then I was told that I would have to wait for a physican instead of being referred someplace else. I LOVE MY DOCTOR but I can not get along with this clinic. Fast forward to appt being scheduled I have to go through so much to get an appointment for me and my baby. Then they act like it's a crime to use the ER . If I'm making an appointment for something time sensitive I don't need one 3 weeks after the matter. I'll stick to the er , at least I know I can be seen. I will NOT be a returning patient especially if this is how they treat people. If anyone knows a better clinic please let me know.
they are rude and very unprofessional in the call center/scheduling. Management here is no better. Hold times are generally 15 min minimum (can be much longer). Anyone considering using this center should think long and hard--there are many other very good UM clinics. I have no idea how the labs on the 1st level may be have not had any dealings with them. Like the other person if I could give 0 stars I would.
