This is a great museum for young and old. Watch a movie upstairs while the kids play downstairs in an area just for them. Dress up in firemen's clothes, take funny picture and enjoy lots of interesting history.
Great museum for any kiddo that loves fire fighters. Kids loved it! Curator is a bit uptight, was very stern when my 4y/o son touched the bumper of the scio rig in the middle of the main floor display...
Surprisingly Interesting. I accompanied someone who really likes fire trucks and fire fighting in general and was prepared to be bored. But I was pleasantly surprised at how interesting and well done this museum is. Plan about 2 hours to see everything. Admission: $5.00
Hidden gem. This place is never busy yet is jam packed with great historical info and is loads of fun for the kids and educational!
Way more content than I would have assumed! Everyone wad friendly and knowledgeable, the gift store was comically cheap (we bought gifts for nieces and nephews) and took a million pictures with my fascinated 2 year old son. This is a great place to let the kids explore while learning a fair amount yourself.
