The disc golf course is excellent. Very well maintained. Not sure difficult, but uses the landscape well. The rest of the park looked really cool, too, but we only player disc golf.
Great park. Water park, amazing biking trails, and one of the better maintained disc golf courses around. Fun playgrounds for kids, athletic fields on location. Extremely expensive for a one day pass, but worth a yearly pass if you like going to Independence Lake Park (about 35 minutes northwest) as well Rolling.
Rolling Hills is one of my favorite places to retreat to. There are miles of paved trails and mountain bike trails. Not much activity on the bike trails so a little bravery will give you a great hike in the woods. They've reclaimed the land as prairie land and oh my gosh are the flowers exquisite all summer long as some fade to be replaced with other natural beauties.
My niece had her son's fourth birthday there yesterday. I found the facility in good condition with a moderate size crowd on a hot Saturday. I have no complaints except the price of $10 for parking and $13 entrance is a bit high for what you get. I would also suggest leaving the park to eat. The concession stand is not what I consider good food or value priced for a country facility. They offer re-entry tickets so bring a picnic and eat outside the water park.
One of the best disc golf courses around. Very clean. Very well kept. They put down wood chips if it gets muddy. Bugs can be really bad though. Have had to leave after eight holes before because of the bugs. So just bring bug spray.
