My wife and I looked at many houses over two years before purchasing. Our Real Estate One agent, Jaimie Schmidt, did an excellent job throughout, and we recommend her and Real Estate One highly. First, she knows the industry well and is able to give expert advice on all aspects of home purchasing (e.g., what to look for in a home, market trends, bidding strategies). Second, though she is busy, she is diligent in making time to show homes for her customers. Third, while she can give no official advice about building and construction--she comes from a family of builders and so is able to notice (informally) building and repair issues. Fourth, she always makes recommendations that are in the best interest of the client--rather than on what is most financially advantageous. Finally, Jaimie is able to adjust and adapt to a wide variety of personalities, even "higher maintenance" customers like us. We also found the Real Estate One office support staff to be professional and courteous throughout the process.
