I’d give it a lower star if I could. I haven’t been to this IHOP in three years until yesterday. My coworker and I wanted to do take out so we called to place our order. I called. 3 times and no one answered so I decided to just drive there and place the order when I arrived. Upon getting there I noticed that the carry out phone was off the hook and sitting on the counter. Now I know why no one answered. I then placed my order with the girl up front who was sweet and polite. After placing my order a cool came out to ask if I meant to order the cheeseburger omelette or the sandwich. I told him the receipt was correct and I wanted the omelette. He said no problem and left. A few more minutes later and the girl I placed my order with asked me how many pieces of bacon I wanted with my order. I told her whatever it was supposed to come with. I ended up with 2 pieces of bacon instead of 4. I asked for hash browns crispy...they weren’t cooked all the way. My coworker wanted pancakes as her side. After getting back to my car I realized that after being told that the receipt was in the bag (i asked for one) that there was no receipt and the pancakes were missing. I went back in to get the receipt and the pancakes and it took 15 minutes and she never gave me my receipt. I had an hour lunch break. It takes me 10 minutes to get to IHOP and 10 minutes to get back. I was gone a total of an hour and a half and our orders were totally messed up. I now remember why I stopped going there. And with the exception of this time my streak will continue. I couldn’t even write a complaint on their website because you have to have your receipt number to do so. I guess I know why she wouldn’t give me one now.
I know it's got the most amazing pancakes but it's actually their Crepes (cream cheese filled!!!) that are their best item! They are absolutely divine! And every thing on their menu tastes better than stuff at Denny's. Best part, it's open 24 hours on weekends! Deliciousness!
Over an hour to eat pancakes. So slow. Had to ask for our drinks ten minuted after we ordered them. Waitress kept apologizing for the wait but wait we still did. Forgot my bacon. No toilet paper in the mens room. If you run a free special perhaps have more staff on hand. Will not be back.
This one is really hit or miss kind of a place. Some days, they'll be perfect, food will hot and good, pancakes will have generous ingredients (chocolate chips for example) and service will be great. Other days, any of the 3 above mentioned aspects could vary from abysmal to need a bit of improvement. No certain pattern, some of their high volume/rush days they have been perfect, and been terrible on non rush hours at times.
Even though busy, we were seated promptly. Our server was helpful, and a pleasure to have serving us. Food was as ordered, and arrived with minimal wait. Lovely experience, better than many others.
